The Loza Foundation want to give vulnerable children and young people in Macedonia support and hope for the future. The children’s home ”25 May” is one of several homes for children in Skopje that we are building a long term cooperation with, in order to support these children over time.

In 2017, the Loza Foundation started a project at the Special Institution in Demir Kapija, Macedonia. At the institution, 250 children and adults with different disabilities live under very difficult conditions and under the prevailing circumstances that they are not given their human rights.

In 2018 a collaboration started with a group living in Bosnia that help people to move out from large institutions and integrate into society. An accommodation where people get to learn how to work in a home and understand their human rights. The accommodation has a farmyard where people can work and learn to grow and manage crops. The group accommodation is self-sufficient.

In 2018, the Loza Foundation started a collaboration with the local organization Snaga Zene – The Power of Women in Tuzla, Bosnia. Today, 20 years since the war in Bosnia, there are still hundreds of women and children living in camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Internal refugees who have not been able to move back to their hometowns, still living with scars from the war, both internal and external, and their children growing up in poverty and exclusion.
